Red House Museum and Gardens at Quay Road, Christchurch was built as a parish workhouse in 1764.
This historic building now houses outstanding collections of local and social history. Highlights include the Archaeology Galleries, the Herbert Druitt Costume Gallery and the Arthur Romney Green 1930’s Gallery.
The gardens contain many historic flowers and plants and there’s a walled herb garden and woodland walk for visitors to enjoy.
Open 10am-5pm Tues to Sat; 2pm-5pm Sun.
