Christchurch Family Bug and Beastie Day

The Friends of St Catherine’s Hill in Christchurch are holding a Family Bug and Beastie Day on Saturday 6 July from 10.30am until 4pm.
Both kids and grown-ups will be able to find out more about the varied mini beasts and reptiles living on St Catherine’s Hill. Activities include a mini beast safari, pond dipping and helping to search for rare butterflies and dragonflies.

Anyone wanting to come along should meet on top of the hill by the concrete water reservoirs. Families are welcome to drop in at any time or bring some lunch with them and stay all day.

The event is being supported by Christchurch Borough Council, Amphibian and Reptile Conservation Trust (ARC), RSPB and the Butterfly Conservation.
The event is free with a small charge for some activities.
