Christchurch Borough Council sowing wild flowers

The wild flowers help wild life and provide visually pleasing sites while reducing the number of cuts needed in these areas.

A wide variety of seeds have been sown, including cornflowers, poppies, toad flax, gypsophila, black-eyed susans, chrysanthemums and corn marigolds.

The wild flowers can now be seen at Church Hatch, at the entrance to Two Riversmeet Leisure Centre, at Bernards Mead in Jumpers, on Stony Lane roundabout and on the northern end of The Runway.
