Christchurch Borough Council announce photography workshops at Steamer Point

Christchurch Borough Council is to run two photography workshops at Steamer Point Nature Reserve in April.

A children’s digital camera workshop will take place on Thursday 4 April between 10am and noon.

Youngsters will be able to join expert photographers Dennis Booth and Robin Wilson for a walk, talk and activities designed to help them get the most out of their camera or camera phone.

The workshop costs just £3 per child. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
The second workshop is an early morning wildlife shoot which will take place on Saturday 6 April between 8am and 10.30am.

The workshop, which is open to all ages, will include tips from expert photographers Dennis Booth and Robin Wilson on close-up photography and how best to capture wildlife and the nature reserve using their own camera.

This course costs just £4 per person and includes refreshments.

The workshops are being run in conjunction with the Red House Museum and the Ecological Society.
